TPS is seeking an Associate Database Developer to join its team. The Associate Database Developer provides technical development and support services to a database, application, and reporting environment in support of the operational and strategic commercial data needs of our pharmaceutical and biotech clients. Daily interaction with the client facing business team is what drives the technical deliverables for this position which could include: coding database routines, writing stored procedures, modifying database schemas, reports and analysis both through custom software and standard packages, and raw data deliveries for business analytics. Opportunities for advanced client work are available for individuals who quickly assimilate the business and technology and show initiative. The Associate Database Developer is supported by an experienced technical team with a diverse background in software and database engineering.
Position Requirements
Education: BS/MS in Computer Science or MIS
Work Experience: 0-2 years experience in a database development environment
Other Skills
• Basic knowledge of MS SQL Server or Access databases.
• Experience with 3rd party reporting applications a plus.
• Strong communication skills. Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong interest in database technologies
• Ability to work on simultaneous projects, is self-motivated, and works with minimal supervision.
