Associate Software Developer
TPS is seeking an Associate Software Developer to join its team. The Associate Software Developer provides technical development and support services to a database, application, and reporting environment in support of the operational and strategic commercial data needs of our pharmaceutical and biotech clients. Daily interaction with the client facing business team is what drives the technical deliverables for this position. Working closely with other team members, the deliverables include, but are not limited to: reports and analysis both through custom software and standard packages, application enhancements driven by client needs, and raw data deliveries for business analytics. This position is an excellent advancement opportunity for a strong and talented team player who is driven, energetic, takes initiative, and possesses good communication and presentation skills.
Position Requirements
Education: BS/MS in Computer Science or MIS
Work Experience: 0-2 years of relevant and successful experience in a software development environment
Other Skills
• Basic knowledge of at least one of the following: ASP, XML, C#, Java, VB.NET, or Flex.
• Basic knowledge of Internet technologies, communication protocols, and techniques.
• Strong communication skills. Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to work on simultaneous projects, is self-motivated, and works with minimal supervision.
• Experience with 3rd party reporting applications a plus.
• Basic knowledge of MS SQL Server or Access databases.
• May have experience building GUI-based database applications.
