Trinity Helps Discovery Labs Build IT Infrastructure & MSL Application • April 2005

Discovery Labs, an emerging biotech company in late-stage clinical trials for its drug Surfaxin, is preparing for FDA approval and the challenges of building a sales and marketing organization. In June 2004, the company contracted with Trinity Pharma Solutions to help build its IT infrastructure to support commercialization and comply with regulatory demands. Trinity directed and implemented the overhaul of the companys systems and infrastructure. This involved managing staff, developing operational budgets, and building the necessary data integration and management capabilities. As part of its ongoing relationship with Discovery Labs, Trinity is building the company a MSL system which is due to be launched in June 2005. This application will help the Discovery MSL team build relationships and increase awareness in the marketplace, allowing for a successful launch and an expansion of their therapeutic areas. This system is being designed to be interoperable with other applications at Discovery Labs.

Trinity Presents at Pharma Technology Congress • March 2005

Hussain Mooraj, Director of Program Management for Trinity Pharma Solutions, was invited to participate on a panel of speakers at the Pharma Technology Congress, held March 14–16, 2005, at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia. The panel, moderated by AMR Research President Roddy Martin, tackled the topic "What Constitutes a Perfect Product Launch and Why Demand-Driven Product Supply Changes the IT Agenda" on the second day of the event. Hussain spoke about launch best practices and provided recommendations as they relate to IT implications. He also discussed how metrics relate to supply chain issues and opportunities. According to Hussain, "It was exciting to share perspectives with other industry leaders before a highly qualified and interested audience. This is a complex issue and it was good to demonstrate that Trinity Pharma Solutions has the expertise to address it effectively for drug manufacturers."
